Day 15: Kaniva (Blue Aiva and Kanaga Jnr) win Big Brother Titans 2023 Week 3 Head of House Title
Kaniva (Blue Aiva and Kanaga Jnr) have won the Big Brother Titans 2023 (Season 1) Week 3 Head of House Title.
Today in the evening, Big Brother asked all the Big Brother Titans 2023 housemates to move to the arena for Week 3’s Head of House challenge.
Tonight, each pair of housemates had the opportunity of being the next Head of House team, on one hand, this comes with privileges that we are certain the housemates enjoy, and on the other hand with some great responsibilities.
As all the housemates know, they had to prove themselves worthy of the Head of House title by playing against each other.
As the norm is in the Big Brother Titans house, outgoing Heads of House, Blaqleng (Blaqboi and Ipeleng) were not eligible to partake in this week’s Head of House challenge.
Similar to previous weeks, the worst performing pair of housemates as determined by Big Brother was to be crowned Tails Of House.
Last week the housemates made a mess of the Tail Of The House punishments and therefore before this week’s Head of House game started, Big Brother sounded a warning to the perpetrators. These are Yemi Cregx, Lukay, Mmeli, and Justin.
Big Brother further warned the entire house and cautioned all the housemates not to take his kindness and lenience for weakness, he made it clear to the housemates that the punishments and assignments of the Tails Of The House must always be taken very seriously.
Tonight’s Head of House challenge consisted of two rounds, Round 1 was the Egg Toss and housemates competed in their pairs a distance apart. Both partners in a pair played the role of a thrower and the role of a catcher, the thrower was supposed to throw the egg in the ball to the catcher.
After each successful throw, the distance between the thrower and the catcher increased. For every successful catch, both the thrower and the catcher were supposed to take a step back and also had to make sure that they were standing behind a line at every level.
The housemates were not allowed to move forward over the line to either throw or catch the egg, however, they were allowed to move backward while catching the egg.
Each housemate was to throw the egg straight to their partner, not wide so that it does not affect the next pair standing close to them. If a pair’s egg fell, cracked or broke, they were supposed to immediately return to their seats, in short, this meant game over for them.
Only the top two pairs with their eggs still intact would go through to the Final round.
The Head of House game soon kicked off with Khosicle (Khosi and Miracle OP) playing first.
Yelisa (Nelisa and Yemi Cregx) was the first pair of housemates to break their egg and immediately get eliminated from the Head of House game this week.
In the end, it was the pairs, Jaykay (Jaypee and Lukay) and Kaniva (Blue Aiva and Kanaga Jnr) that thrived in Round 1 of this week’s Head of House challenge, thereby progressing to the Final round.
For this week’s Final round of the Head of House challenge, Big Brother prepared a ball of sweets for each competing pair. Working in their own pairs, the finalists were required to move as many sweets as possible from Point A to Point B within 60 seconds.
Before the finalists started running with the sweets, Big Brother read them the rules of the game.
- The housemates were only allowed to use their mouths to move the sweets.
- The housemates were not allowed to break any of the sweets, and when a sweet was broken or dropped, it was to be forfeited.
- The housemates were not allowed to proceed if their partner’s mouth was not on the sweets.
- The housemates were also not allowed to touch any of the sweets with their hands at any time during the game.
The Final round of Week 3’s Head of House challenge then started with Kaniva (Blue Aiva and Kanaga Jnr) playing first and at the end of 60 seconds, they had successfully moved six sweets.
On the other hand, Jaykay (Jaypee and Lukay) moved eight sweets within the 60 seconds timeframe that was given to them.
It seemed as if Jaykay (Jaypee and Lukay) were the winners since they had moved more sweets than their opponents. However, they had broken one of the game’s rules, which led to Big Brother punishing them by disqualification.
Big Brother then announced Kaniva (Blue Aiva and Kanaga Jnr) as the winners of Big Brother Titans Season 1 week 3 Head of House title.
Big Brother further asked the outgoing Heads of House, Blaqleng (Blaqboi and Ipeleng) to pass the Badge of Honour to their successors, Kaniva (Blue Aiva and Kanaga Jnr).
As the winners of Week 3’s Head of House crown, both Kanaga Jnr and Blue Aiva have immunity from this week’s nomination process as well as the Veto Save privilege, they also have the unlimited use of the Head of House bedroom as well as whatever treat they may find inside it.
Congratulations to Kaniva (Blue Aiva and Kanaga Jnr) on this hard-fought victory.
