Day 57: Uyanda Wins Big Brother Mzansi 2025 Week 9 HoH
Uyanda is the winner of the Week 9 Head of House games in Big Brother Mzansi 2025 Umlilo.
In a thrilling battle, Uyanda has claimed the title of Head of House (HoH) for Week 9 of Big Brother Mzansi 2025, defeating seven fellow housemates in a tension-filled competitive challenge.
This week’s Head of House games comprised three parts namely; Paper Rocket Launch, Balloon Race, and the Electrical Assembly (Finale).
Part 1: Paper Rocket Launch
The first challenge tested creativity and precision as housemates built paper rockets using simple materials—paper, glue, and scissors. They had to launch their rockets into a bucket using only a straw while standing behind a table.
Housemates who advanced:

✅ Nate
Eliminated housemates: Jojo, Nsuku, and Siphesihle
Part 2: Balloon Race
The second round pushed the contenders’ endurance and lung power. They raced to blow and propel three balloons across a finish line one at a time. The four fastest advanced:
✅ Uyanda – 2:37
✅ Sweet Guluva – 2:59
✅ Mshini – 3:01
✅ Nate – 3:07
Eliminated housemate: Abobo (3:14)
Part 3: Electrical Assembly (Finale)
The final challenge demanded technical skills as housemates assembled a working fan using a circuit box, wires, a motor, and a battery. Uyanda outperformed the other three finalists – securing the Week 9 Head of House title.
After close to an hour of strategy and grit, Uyanda’s relentless drive secured his victory and the keys to Season 5’s grand finale week and the most luxurious sanctuary – the Head of House bedroom.
As the new Head of House, Uyanda picked Abobo to share the Head of House bedroom’s treats and comforts.
