If you have not heard of the South African dance music phenomeno that is Mi Casa then you better not miss out on the trio performing live on the Big Brother MzansiLive show this Sunday.

The music outfit came to fame in 2010 when their hit single "These Streets" shot to number one on the South African music charts. With their chilled house sound and catchy beats, vocalist J'Something, trumpeter, Mot and producer DR Dudu were surely destined to revolutionalise the local dance scene.

The chemistry between them was tangible and they knew that their synchronicty was the future ofSouth African dance music and theirs too.

Their debut album was self titled and their first single "These streets"

Their debut album was self-titled and their first single ‘These Streets’ rocked airwaves across the nation; the album subsequently spawned five massive hits and currently sits on platinum record status. Their next single ‘Heavenly Sent’ had the same chart-busting effect and the album resulted in the boys walking away with five South African Music Awards (SAMA’s) in 2012.

They released their second album ‘Mi Casa Su Casa’ in 2013 and the debut single ‘Jika’ earned them a number one spot on UK’s BBC 1Extra radio station. The raw talent of this band was garnering a fast and furious international presence.

Mi Casa are planning great things for 2014, with a new album in the wings, and with 30 000 albums already sold, the sky’s the limit.
